Where are you right now? I'm at the Toronto Pearson airport flying back to NYC after spending the weekend with my family!
What is your mantra? My mantra for as long as I can remember is 'Stand up for something you believe in, even if it means standing alone.' I was bullied when I was younger and didn't have very many friends so I did a lot of standing alone. LOL!
Where did you grow up? I spent my younger years in a small town just east of Toronto and then moved downtown with my family when I was 15. At 16 I moved to Paris with my sister to pursue my modeling career and have been traveling ever since.
If you weren't a model, what career would you pursue? I would probably be a designer. I've always been really into fashion. It's funny, this weekend I was looking through old photos with my family and we found a picture of me when I was about 8 wearing a pair of red pajama pants as a dress. I had my body through the one pant leg and one of my arms through the other pant leg and I literally looked like the emoji of the lady salsa dancing in the red dress! I'm always taking the clothes I buy and customizing them to make them my own, so I would love to have the ability to make something from scratch.
What makes you feel sexy? I know it seems cliché, but lingerie makes me feel the most sexy! On days when I'm feeling down I'll throw on an entire lingerie set underneath my sweats! A bustier with a garter belt and stockings, lacy underwear, the whole deal.
Where have you never been but want to go? I'd love to go to Necker Island. It looks so exotic and beautiful there
Do you read the comments I do read my comments! I also comment or like back a lot of the time, it's a great way for me to interact with my followers. I don't receive a lot of hate, but the negative comments I do receive don't really bother me. I've been in the modeling industry for so long that the hate usually just rolls off my back! I mean... haters gonna hate.
What is the craziest thing you’ve done on a shoot? A couple of years ago I did a job for a sporting goods company. We were on location at one of the highest mountains in Vermont. The photographer found a rock wall and asked me to climb it without any equipment so as not to detract from any of the clothing. That was pretty crazy! Another time I was shooting for a different job in the tropical rainforest of Cuba and accidentally laid on a bed of biting bugs but didn't want to ruin the shot so I basically just succumbed to becoming bug lunch!
What is your most prized possession? My most prized possession is probably my passport because it allows me to visit my family back home in Canada and to experience all of the places I travel for work! I mean, how else would I get to the Necker Islands someday?
